Our Chairman – Mr.V.K.Shunglu

The prestigious Delhi Public School Society is currently led by its dynamic and vibrant chairman Mr. V K Shunglu, IAS Retd. A graduate in Economics(Hons) from St Stephen’s followed by a Master in History, Mr.Shunglu’s long, illustrious career depicts a panorama of brilliance and sheer dedication. Amongst the other high-profile positions held by him, he was also formerly the Comptroller and Auditor General of India. Known as an astute bureaucrat, he headed several prominent committees like the CWG corruption scandal, Committee on the displacement caused by Sardar Sarovar Dam, etc. He has also served in various positions while working with the Government as the Principal Secretary and was in senior positions in Finance, Planning, Taxation, Industry, Energy, Health & Family Welfare, and Industry & Company Affairs. He represented the Government of India in International bodies like the Asian Development Bank, IMF/World Bank, International Organization of the Supreme Audit Institutions, Asian Organization of the Supreme Audit Institutions, ASOSAI, etc.

Under his able leadership, the DPS Society and the chain of Delhi Public Schools, both in India and globally, deem to grow and flourish, spreading the essence of quality education far and wide.
